Peel the potatoes and carrots and cut into thin strips or slice them with a food processor.
Put the oil in a frying pan and add the potato and carrot strips. Sprinkle the salt on top. Fry over high heat for about 1 minute, turning constantly. After 1 minute add the vinegar. Turn occasionally and finish cooking with the lid on for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
Tip: You can add a finely diced onion and fry it and season with pepper and nutmeg.
