Here is my trick 17 - super trick for super crispy fried potatoes.
Peel the potatoes and cut into slices at least 5 mm thick. Put water in a pan and spread the slices on top. Now simmer at the highest level until the water can no longer be seen.
Put the lard and oil on the potatoes and fry over medium heat.
Try a slice and when it`s almost done turn up the heat and fry until the potatoes are nicely colored. Then season with salt and serve immediately.
