Instructions

  1. Cut the onion into cubes and slowly sweat with the ham cubes in a little butter or oil. When the onion cubes are translucent and the ham is lightly seared, remove both from the pan and set aside.
  2. Cut the cold, boiled potatoes into the pan and fry them. Season with salt and pepper and fry until the potatoes are nice and crispy and light brown. Turn off the stove and add the onion and ham mixture to the potatoes. Season well with thyme, mix well and serve.
  3. A little tip: The potatoes are best fried if you cut them into large pieces / corners. They then do not disintegrate as quickly as discs.
