Cut off the tentacles from the carcass, cut out the middle hard part where the eyes and mouth are. Remove the transparent ridge from the carcass. If possible, remove the skin.
Cut the squid into rings about 1-1.5 cm wide.
Thoroughly roll the squid in flour just before frying.
Fry in vegetable oil for about 3 minutes, until golden brown. If you have a deep fryer, that’s great! If not, use a deep skillet. There should be enough oil and it should warm up well! We spread the rings on kitchen paper, salt, and pepper.
