White sugar – 0.5 cup
Fresh grapefruit juice or from a package – 0.5 cup
Cornstarch – 2 teaspoon
Fresh mint leaves (cut into strips) – 1 tablespoon
Sweet green melon (cut into small pieces) – 0.5 pc. (2 1/4 cups)
Sweet yellow melon (cut into small pieces) – 0.5 pc. (2 1/4 cups)
In a small saucepan, combine the starch, sugar, and grapefruit juice. Place a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil while stirring. Cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
Finish off the chopped mint, cover, let cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate for 30-50 minutes.
Divide the melons and watermelon into 10 portioned salad bowls and pour over the chilled syrup.
