Fruit Salad with Melon and Banana

The end of summer pleases with a variety of fruits and berries. To prepare a delicious fruit salad, you will need bananas and melon, and such a fruit salad is seasoned with grapefruit syrup.
Ingredients
- White sugar – 1/2 cup
- Fresh grapefruit juice or from a package – 1/2 cup
- Cornstarch – 2 teaspoon
- Fresh mint leaves (cut into strips) – 1 tablespoon
- Sweet green melon (cut into small pieces) – 1/2 pc. (2 1/4 cups)
- Sweet yellow melon (cut into small pieces) – 1/2 pc. (2 1/4 cups)
- Banana (cut into thin trays) – 2 pcs.
- Fresh mint leaves for decoration
Directions
- In a small saucepan, combine the starch, sugar, and grapefruit juice. Place a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil while stirring. Cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Finish off the chopped mint, cover, let cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate for 30-50 minutes.
- Divide the melons and watermelon into 10 portioned salad bowls and pour over the chilled syrup.
Serve the salad garnished with whole mint leaves.
