Mix the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy, gradually stir in the eggs, add salt, flour and baking powder and mix everything into a smooth dough. Possibly add milk to make the dough smoother.
Grease the fruit cake mold and line with breadcrumbs. Pour in the dough and bake at 175 - 200 degrees for about 25 minutes until it is golden brown. Remove from the mold by turning over immediately after baking. (If necessary, cover the mold with a damp cloth so that the bottom loosens.)
Cover the completely cooled base with fruits of your choice. Cover the fruits with cake glaze with a brush and decorate with small whipped cream dots if necessary.
