Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Mix the butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy, gradually stir in the eggs, add salt, flour and baking powder and mix everything into a smooth dough. Possibly add milk to make the dough smoother.
  3. Grease the fruit cake mold and line with breadcrumbs. Pour in the dough and bake at 175 - 200 degrees for about 25 minutes until it is golden brown. Remove from the mold by turning over immediately after baking. (If necessary, cover the mold with a damp cloth so that the bottom loosens.)
  4. Cover the completely cooled base with fruits of your choice. Cover the fruits with cake glaze with a brush and decorate with small whipped cream dots if necessary.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
