Cook the basmati rice in water until cooked. I always let the rice steep a little longer than it is stated on the package, because I like it a little softer. Drain the rice and divide it into two bowls.
Stir in approx. 50 g yogurt per bowl (or more, if you want). Sweeten with honey if you like, but personally I leave it out.
Now mix in the compote or the fresh, finely chopped or pureed fruits. About 2 tablespoons of compote are enough for me.
Can also be stacked in a sealable jar and taken with you to kindergarten, school or work with the spoon.
