Stir in the yeast, sage and half of the salt. Save 1 teaspoon of the garlic for sprinkling. Put the rest in the bowl. Add honey together with the water and knead the dough.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes. Put the dough in a greased bowl and let rise in a warm place for 1.5 hours until it has doubled its volume. Knead the dough again, shape it into a ring and place it on the baking sheet. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Sprinkle the rest of the salt and garlic on top. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for 25-30 minutes. Let cool down.
