Instructions

  1. Cut into the loaf of white bread (white bread is also possible) so that there are approx. 12 slices. The bread should remain coherent on the ground! Mix pressed garlic, finely chopped chili peppers, chopped herbs (possibly frozen), sheep`s cheese (finely mashed with a fork), lemon juice and zest, walnuts and butter (hand mixer), so that a smooth paste is created.
  2. Open the bread like a fan and spread the paste on both sides of each slice of bread, then squeeze the bread tightly and spread the squeezed out mixture on the outside of the bread. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees in the preheated oven.
  3. Should there be any garlic butter left: Also tastes good with pasta or vegetables!
