Instructions

  1. Peel the ginger and cut into pieces the size of a fingertip. Squeeze the lemon. Simmer together with the water for approx. 20 minutes. Then sift through. Add the sugar and bring to the boil until it becomes syrupy.
  2. Fill hot.
  3. Top up with water to taste. I put a good shot of syrup in a glass of mineral water.
