Clean the carrots, just cut off the green. Sweat the carrots in a pan with 3 tablespoons of butter. Sprinkle the sugar over the carrots and stir until it has dissolved.
Now pour in the broth and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
Then simmer without a lid until the liquid has evaporated and the carrots are glazed. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
