Wash approx. 6 normal jam jars with hot water and place on a tray.
Mix the finely pureed gooseberries with the other ingredients in a large, tall saucepan. Bring the mixture to the boil while stirring, then let it boil for 4 minutes while stirring. Pour into the clean jars provided and close.
I made them with bought woodruff syrup. It tastes sour, lemony and has a shrill green color.
