Beat egg whites into snow and put in a cool place first.
In the meantime, put the butter in a bowl and beat until frothy. Gradually add the other ingredients and work everything into a batter. Finally, carefully fold in the egg whites.
Grease the loaf tin or ring cake tin and fill in the batter.
Put in the oven and bake for about 1 hour (if necessary, make a stick test).
