Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots and potatoes and cut into pieces. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and the bay leaf and cook until soft with a little water. After cooking, carefully pour off the liquid and remove the bay leaf. Mash everything with a potato masher.
  2. Peel the onion, cut into rings and sauté in the melted margarine. Mix into the vegetables together with 1 tablespoon mustard.
  3. Best served with meatballs.
