- 1 kg carrot (s)
- 500 g potato (s)
- 125 g mararine
- 1 large onion (s)
- salt and pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 pinch (s) sugar

- Peel the carrots and potatoes and cut into pieces. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and the bay leaf and cook until soft with a little water. After cooking, carefully pour off the liquid and remove the bay leaf. Mash everything with a potato masher.
- Peel the onion, cut into rings and sauté in the melted margarine. Mix into the vegetables together with 1 tablespoon mustard.
- Best served with meatballs.
