Instructions

  1. Core the grapes. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces, drizzle with lemon juice.
  2. Put the grapes and apple pieces in a tall saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the vanilla sugar and lemon zest. Finally add the preserving sugar and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Pour into 6 twist-off glasses and turn over.
