Put the seasoned gyros in a baking dish with a lid. Peel the onions and cut into fine wedges. Wash the peppers, remove the stem and seeds and cut the pulp into fine strips. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into slices. Spread everything on the gyros meat in the baking dish. Add the cream, ketchup and herbal cream cheese and mix everything well.
Cover the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for 60 minutes at 200 ° C. After 50 minutes, remove the lid, sprinkle on the grated cheese and bake until golden.
This goes very well with rice and a fresh salad with cucumber, bell pepper and carrots.
