Ingredients
- 500 g minced meat, mixed (alternatively only beef or only pork)
- 1 onion (s), finely chopped
- 1 clove (s) garlic, finely grated
- 1 egg (s)
- Salt and pepper, pepper,
- 1 tablespoon mint, fresh, frozen or dried
- 1 tablespoon parsley, fresh, frozen or dried
- 6 slices toast, dipped in water and squeezed out
- 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice
- 1 teaspoon oil
- Oil, for deep-frying
Instructions
- Knead the above ingredients into a minced meat mixture and form small round balls. Fry the minced meat balls in hot fat.
- Keftedakia are a delicious meze (side dish) and go great with a buffet, because they also taste great cold!
