Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed (alternatively only beef or only pork)
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove (s) garlic, finely grated
  • 1 egg (s)
  • Salt and pepper, pepper,
  • 1 tablespoon mint, fresh, frozen or dried
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, fresh, frozen or dried
  • 6 slices toast, dipped in water and squeezed out
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Oil, for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. Knead the above ingredients into a minced meat mixture and form small round balls. Fry the minced meat balls in hot fat.
  2. Keftedakia are a delicious meze (side dish) and go great with a buffet, because they also taste great cold!
