Instructions

  1. Mix yoghurt with vanilla sugar, divide between 4 dessert glasses.
  2. Squeeze 2 oranges, fillet 4 oranges, catching the juice and adding to the squeezed juice. Slit open the vanilla pod, scrape out the pulp.
  3. Caramelize the sugar in a large saucepan, deglaze with the orange juice, add the vanilla pulp and pod and let it boil down until a thick syrup has formed, which takes about 10 minutes (watch out: it foams!). Take out the vanilla pod and let the syrup cool down briefly.
  4. Roughly crumble the amaretti and sprinkle on the yoghurt. Place the orange fillets decoratively on the amaretti. Cover with syrup.
  5. Place a whole almond biscuit on top as a decoration.
  6. Also tastes great with chopped cantuccini, chopped turron, ground / chopped and roasted almonds, or a mixture of these.
  7. If you can`t get Greek yoghurt, you can mix mascarpone with 3.5% yoghurt instead (approx. 60/40).
