Mix the remaining ingredients together - the result should be a rather thick marinade that sticks well to the meat. Add lamb chops. Mix everything together so that the marinade coats all of the meat.
Let the meat in the marinade stand in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Then the chops are grilled over charcoal for about 8-10 minutes (they are usually done quite quickly - do not leave them on the grill too long, otherwise they will become hard and dry!).
It goes well with fried potatoes or roasted white bread.
