Wash the schnitzel, pat dry, flatten as desired, lightly salt and pepper. Dust the schnitzel with flour and then turn in a beaten egg. Mix the breadcrumbs with the gyros spice, salt and pepper and turn the schnitzel in it, pressing the spiced crumbs a little tight. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the schnitzel in it on both sides until golden.
French fries or djuvec rice, coleslaw, mixed or Greek salad taste great as a side dish.
