Peel onion and garlic and chop finely. Peel, wash and finely dice the potatoes and zucchini. Wash the basil and cut into fine strips.
Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the mince vigorously. Add onions, garlic and potatoes and fry for 5 minutes. Season with basil, salt and pepper. Pour about 1/4 liter of water and tomatoes with juice. If necessary, chop the tomatoes a little and bring everything to the boil.
Add zucchini and simmer covered for another 8-10 minutes.
