Peel, wash and thinly slice the potatoes. Layer in a greased baking dish and season with salt. Sauté the onions and garlic in a pan, then add the minced meat and fry everything vigorously. Deglaze with the tomato juice and season the spices. Wash and slice tomatoes.
Layer the tomatoes and minced meat mixture on top of the potatoes, spread the creme fraiche on top and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes until the cheese is nice and brown.
