Instructions

  1. Rinse the schnitzel under cold running water and pat dry. Cut each schnitzel in half. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange in a greased baking dish. In a bowl, mix the whipped cream with crème fraîche, sauce powder, pepper, salt, and soy sauce. If the sauce is too thin, add sauce thickener to reach desired consistency. Pour the sauce over the schnitzel and spread the diced ham over the top.
  2. Place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) using top/bottom heat, or 180°C (356°F) with fan circulation, or gas level 3-4. Bake for 35 minutes.
  3. With 5 minutes of cooking time remaining, place the pineapple slices on the schnitzel. Distribute the cheese slices over the pineapple and top each piece with a cocktail cherry. Continue baking until the time is up.
