Instructions

  1. A pretzel solution (caustic soda) is required.
  2. Mix the flour, salt, yeast, butter, water and rye flour with the dough hook to a relatively firm dough (mixing time 8-10 minutes). Then divide into portions of approx. 60 g, shape into elongated sticks, flatten them a little and let rise for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Then make a recess in the middle of the dough pieces for cheese and ham. Dip each stick of dough in pretzel solution and then place on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Now put the cream cheese in the wells, then the diced bacon, and finally the grated cheese. Instead of cream cheese, I`ve also used crème fraîche, which also tastes very good.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 250 ° C top / bottom heat for about 15 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with chives after baking.
