Peel and weigh the potatoes and grate with the onions. Grate the zucchini into fine strips.
Add 2 - 3 eggs (approx. 150 g total weight), flour and spices to the vegetables and mix everything well. Let the dough stand for a few minutes.
Bake the dough in portions in the hot, lightly oiled waffle iron. How long this takes depends on the waffle iron and the size of the waffles. The total baking time is approx. 20 minutes.
