Mix the quark thoroughly with the cream in a large bowl.
Cut the pepper half, shallot and garlic into small cubes, chives into rolls. Add the diced vegetables to the quark mixture and stir thoroughly. Stir in at least 2 tablespoons of paprika powder, the quark should turn pink. Season to taste with salt and pepper and a pinch of sugar.
Tastes great with potato pancakes, baked potatoes, or simply on bread or dipped with carrots.
