Ingredients

  • 500 g low-fat quark
  • 200 ml cream
  • 0.5 ½ bell pepper (s), red
  • 1 shallot (s), or /2 red onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small bunch chives
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix the quark thoroughly with the cream in a large bowl.
  2. Cut the pepper half, shallot and garlic into small cubes, chives into rolls. Add the diced vegetables to the quark mixture and stir thoroughly. Stir in at least 2 tablespoons of paprika powder, the quark should turn pink. Season to taste with salt and pepper and a pinch of sugar.
  3. Tastes great with potato pancakes, baked potatoes, or simply on bread or dipped with carrots.
