- First chop the herringbone, shallots, beetroot, pickles and the apple.
- Pour sour cream into the bowl, season with salt and pepper, optionally add a little cucumber liquid. Now add all the ingredients and stir.
- The herring tip can be eaten straight away or it can be used for a day.
- It goes well with bread or potatoes.
- Tip: My mom uses milk with herring and eats jacket potatoes with it.
