Mix the olive oil with the spices, season well with cayenne pepper.
Scrub the potatoes, not peel them, and quarter them. Put in a plastic bag, add the seasoning oil and knead vigorously until the potatoes are well covered with the oil. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Tastes wonderful with briefly roasted meat, but also on its own with spicy quark or sour cream
