Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into small slices. The thickness of the circles should be no more than 3 mm in thickness. Pour the water over the potatoes for 5 minutes to release some starch.
Combine salt, ground black pepper and paprika in a gravy boat.
Toss potatoes with spices.
Cover the glass dish that comes with the microwave oven with baking parchment and place the potatoes in one layer.
Send the chips to the microwave for 7-10 minutes (at 800W), but watch the potatoes at all times. Perhaps you have more power and the chips will cook faster.
Put the chips on a plate and serve homemade chips to the table, with a frothy beer.
