- Put flour, salt, and egg in a large bowl.
- Add the yeast mixture and knead until a dough forms.
- Place the dough in a warm place for 40 minutes until it rises to roughly double in size.
- While the dough rises, grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.
- While the dough rises, peel and finely chop the garlic.
- In a bowl, mix ketchup, the chopped garlic, and a little water together.
- Clean, wash, and cut the onion into thin half rings.
- Place the onion in a bowl with sugar, vinegar, and a little warm water, and let marinate for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
