Mix the eggs and oil briefly with the Oscar vibrating disk, add the flour and work with the salt to form a smooth dough. Put the dough through a spaetzle sieve (or scrape it off a board by hand with a knife) into boiling water and cook over low heat until it floats on the surface. The homemade spaetzle are ideal as a side dish.
Tip: use grated cheese and browned onions to make Kässpatzen or make krauteaspoonatzen with cabbage and roasted, smoked bacon. Serve with fresh salad.
