  1. Clean the strawberries, ginger root and chilli pepper and cut into small pieces.
  2. Puree well in a blender with the rest of the ingredients (except for the crushed ice).
  3. Then divide into glasses and fill up with crushed ice. Garnish with a few mint leaves and serve ice-cold.
  4. For the alcohol-free version, replace the rum with soda water.
