Put the ginger slices and elderberry syrup in a tea glass, pour boiling water over them and let stand for a few minutes. You can now leave the ginger in the glass or fish it out and eat it.
If you want, you can decorate the glass with a sugar rim made of syrup and sugar before pouring the ingredients.
