Instructions

  1. Wash, core and cut the peppers into strips. Peel, core and quarter the tomatoes, peel and dice the onions.
  2. Heat the lard and fry the onions until golden. Dust with rose paprika. Add the paprika strips and tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes over a mild heat. Season to taste with salt.
  3. Goes very well with meat dishes.
  4. If you prefer a more hearty taste, you can leave out some smoked bacon in the lard and then cook the vegetables.
