Briefly sweat the onion in olive oil until translucent, add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Put the garlic and tomato paste in the pot and sauté briefly. Top up with tomatoes and season with the spices.
Simmer for about 30 minutes (the longer the better!) With the lid closed. Only add the basil to the sauce at the end.
In addition: spaghetti and lots of freshly grated parmesan. If you want, you can add fresh cherry tomatoes (roughly chopped) to the sauce.
