Instructions

  1. Beat butter, sugar and eggs until frothy. Mix in the rum and stir in the flour.
  2. Cover the baking sheet with baking paper. Spread the dough evenly on it with a palette.
  3. Roughly chop the pistachio nuts and sprinkle with the almonds on the dough.
  4. Bake the cake in the preheated oven on the 2nd shelf from the bottom at 190 degrees for 25 minutes (gas 2-3, convection not recommended) until golden brown.
  5. Let the cake cool on the baking sheet, then peel off the baking paper and cut the cake into pieces for serving.
  6. Packaged airtight, the cake stays fresh for a few days.
