- Cut a thin slice off the top and bottom of the rolls, preferably with the bread machine.
- Mix the eggs and milk well in a shallow bowl, then soak the rolls in it until they are soaked in on both sides. Then in hot fat or lard
- Fry well on both sides over a low heat.
- Drain and serve with cinnamon sugar and e.g. applesauce or compote.
