Clean the peppers and cut into strips. Dice onions, peel and dice tomatoes. Layer everything in the above order in a large roasting pan and pour the shashlik sauce over it. Do not season any further!

Tip: replace the fresh tomatoes with 3 small cans of pizza tomatoes.
