Instructions

  1. Cut the Leberkäse into slices so that it fits nicely on a slice of toast. I just had to cut my Leberkäse in half.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the meatloaf on both sides.
  3. Remove and fry the sliced mushrooms and spring onions in the same pan. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Now lightly toast the toast slices and spread a thin layer of mustard. First spread the Leberkäse and then the mushroom and onion vegetables on top and sprinkle with the finely diced brie.
  5. Gratinate in a preheated oven at 175 degrees C, golden yellow for approx. 8-10 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the toasts have a nice crust.

  7. The toast is a great, quick-cooked dinner with a broth and a salad.
  8. If you don`t like spring onions or brie, you can replace them with finely chopped normal onions and grated cheese or cheese cubes.
