Instructions

  1. Cover the lentils with water and soak overnight. Pour away excess water the next day.
  2. Put the lentils, onions, carrots and garlic through the meat grinder or puree. Mix with spices and herbs. Shape flat patties with damp hands and fry them slowly until brown in oil.
  3. Variation: Add ground hazelnuts and / or grated cheese.
