Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the packet and drain. In the meantime, fry the chopped onion together with the ham cubes and stir the cream cheese with the milk until smooth.
Season the milk and cream cheese sauce with herbs, paprika, salt, pepper and - if you like - garlic. Add to the ham and onion mixture in the pan. Bring to the boil briefly (add milk if necessary) and mix with the pasta.
