  4. If you want, you can cut into the bread with a knife before baking it, a little deeper, about 1 cm, and sprinkle with sunflower seeds and press them down a little if necessary. But that`s just for looks.
  5. The really ingenious thing about the recipe is that it always works and is very versatile. You can also use pumpkin seeds, crushed walnuts, sesame seeds, lettuce seed mix, etc. instead of the sunflower seeds. I`ve even baked it with 25g of pine nuts and 25g of sun-dried tomatoes cut into strips. In fact, almost any type of seed or nut that is low in carbohydrates can be used.
