To do this, preheat the oven to 175 ° C with a fan oven.
Now mix all the ingredients for the burger buns and mix into a sticky batter. Shape the dough into 4 round rolls of the same size and distribute them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, then take them out of the oven and let them cool down.
Then just fry the burger patties.
Finally, top the buns with the patties and other ingredients of your choice.
Notes: The rolls can of course also be enjoyed warm, but they are usually a bit soft. By cooling down and then briefly baking them, they get the right consistency for the burger and you can keep them as normal buns.
I mostly use Black Angus burger patties from the Metro. Most patties you can buy are inherently low carb.
The burgers can be topped with the ingredients of your choice. My favorites are: jalapeno, zucchini, bacon, fried egg, green lettuce and tomato.
