Instructions

  1. Halve the vanilla pods lengthways and scrape out. Put the vanilla pulp and the vanilla pods together with the milk and sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  2. Mix the cornstarch with some cold milk.
  3. When the milk boils, remove the vanilla pod from the milk and pour the mixed cornstarch into the milk, stirring constantly. Bring to the boil again.
