Bring the milk to the boil in a saucepan, add the pasta and simmer on low heat.
In the meantime, cut the mushrooms and spring onion into slices and the tomato into cubes. Grate the Gouda or use the grated one.
Add the vegetables to the pasta and continue to cook. When the pasta is al dente, remove the pan from the heat, stir in the cheese and season with salt, pepper and any other seasoning.
